On Sunday I visited Walsingham and the grounds of the former abbey. This is the best place I know of in England for a display of snowdrops en masse.
-
All the snowdrops there are nivalis, mostly singles but some flore pleno.

we went to Walsingham last year for the first time its a lovely place .Great pictures thanks for sharing

Because this is a late season, the snowdrops are still looking lovely there. Anyone planning a visit can consult the web site at http://www.walsinghamabbey.com/walsinghamabbey/Snowdrops.html . The abbey is in Little Walsingham, Norfolk, and the entrance is through the estate office (or adjacent tourist information office) off the main square, and therefore easy to miss.
Oh and if you do go, take boots as some of the paths are quite muddy at the moment.
