Title: Disporopsis/Polygonatum

A friend of mine grows Polygonatum cyrtonema, some people told her it is the same as Disporopsis pernyi. Does anyone know if this is true?

I am no expert on these genera (or on anything else :-[) but the two are treated as separate species in EFlora of China, with no apparent synonymy:
