i hadnt realised that androcymbium makes it so far north--i only knew the genus (very little ) as south african..

There are a few androcymbiums around the Med, Cohan and Androcymbium rechingeri is a Cretan endemic.

and doesn't seem to look that dissimilar to the south africans i recall; still indoor plants for here, but always interesting to learn more...
