Post by: Ulla Hansson on January 25, 2010, 07:21:41 PM
I need advice how to germinate Rheum alexandrae seeds.  Need they a cold period, or can I have them inside at 20°C.
Grateful for the help.

Ulla I have raised this from Society seed and didn't give it any special  treatment though I am still waiting for it to flower 3 years on
:-\ . I sowed as normal with a grit covering and put it outside until they germinated

Ulla, they will germinate immediately if kept inside. They will need pricking out in about 5-6wks from sowing.
