Title: Thymus longiflorus dying???
Post by: JPB on December 21, 2009, 03:31:34 PM
Suddenly all the branchlets are hanging while there is enough water in the pot. Too cold (5C)? Fungus? Too wet? I noticed the same in Salvia candelabrum and Cistus. During winter they let their leaves/brabchlets hang down and die after some days. What should I do? I have healthy cuttings so the clone is not lost but still, what's happening?

Thanks,
HAns

It does look like the result of being too wet. Other than that, I don't know. Not the dying thyme problem I have though. When I went to pick some a few nights ago for a casserole, found the whole patch broken and shattered, much of it wilted and dying. But Teddy smelled very nice. :o
