it may not be possible to tell from this photo, which i think is a capture from one of those africa live cam sites; a friend was asking for id on behalf of organisers who want to be able to archive the photo accurately..
they thought nerine; it is 'in the Sabi Sands area (near Kruger Nat park) of South Africa'

tks, mark, i'll pass along the suggestion... with an image like the one provided, i feel if an id is to be made, it might well be based as much on location as anything, unless there are multiple species there...

tks, alberto; yes, not much of a shot; thats why i thought if id were possible, it would be based on location as much as the vague image..
