Title: Giant's Causeway
Post by: mark smyth on November 17, 2009, 03:33:10 PM
On Saturday Andrew Fraser from Scotland was our speaker. On Sunday he came to my garden where he said
"I have never seen so many plants in a tiny garden"  ;D
After that we had coffee and marmalade cake at Margaret Glynn's. We then rushed up to the Giant's Causway on the north coast. £6 to use their park :o I didnt take enough photos

Hi Mark

Its a amazing place, never seen the giant. We had a family holiday there last year it was one of the things that my sister wanted to see and it was more than we could have imagined. I have some wonderful pictures of us all there last August and it too has brought back good memories of my last trip with my sister. My sister and I thought some of those stones would make good troughs if only we could get them home.
I would also would like to add that the people over there was so nice, I remember the steep road down in the bus and we were last in the queue, but when it came to board the bus the driver said let the nice lady in the wheelchair come first. The rest of our trip in Ireland was the same everyone was so helpful. We never got to Cork so I promised her that I would go back, so maybe next year.
You will have to share some more of your photos of Ireland.
Angie :)
