For those interested in Bonsai, here's a small selection of photos from the Annual convention.

These are very attractive - I guess - but not really my kind of thing. I can admire them as works of art rather than as plants, if you see what I mean. That second last one sure has had a hard life, apparently on the coast somewhere. :D

I love 'em, Doug! Thanks!

I like bonsai too Doug. I love them as art (there was a recent exhibition of Japanese paintings at Lancaster Uni and these pics remind me of this). And of course, for those of us with small gardens it is the only hope of keeping a collection of trees!
Agree with Lesley about the second-to-last. Reminds me of the hedge in our previous garden on Walney island! After we moved away it took us two years to learn to walk upright without leaning at 45 degrees ;D This does sometimes still happen, usually when I leave the pub ;)

Then you must learn to walk in the opposite direction Darren. Take the long route home. :)

These are wonderful specimens of Bonsai, you have to marvel at how perfect they are in miniature and the work that goes into keeping them so!
Thanks for showing such an amazing exhibits Doug.
