This annual meeting was founded by me 16 years ago and Zdenek Zvolanek, who organised the foreign and Czech
speakers. We always had so many good lectures, once even with Ron Mc.Beath and Steve Newall from NZ.
After 14 years I gave the organisation into younger hands,ZZ is still active . To my satisfaction the new
organisers continue the good work and Mrs.Fiebig, the Technical Director of the Tuebingen Botanical Garden
could welcome more than 60 visitors which enjoyed 4 lectures about the Balkan,Central Asia, the Alps and
botanical treasures in the garden.
There were not so many flowers in the garden, but it is worth a visit all times of the year.
The persons at the photo are from left Mrs. Zschummel,Voitech Holubec,Zdenek Zvolanek,Dieter Zschummel,
Zdenek Obrdlik and me.

This sounds like a grand day of talks, Rudi! 8) Good that the weather was kind for the visitors to the gardens, also.

It looks to be a beautiful garden Rudi, I hope you all enjoyed your day.

Rudi,
nice to see the botanical garden in the autumn. Visit it two times (in winter and in a hot summer). Both times were not good to me for the rock garden plants.
