While clearing the spare bedroom recently I found a camera film case of Canna indica seeds from 2001. Thats the last time I was in South Africa . Could they be OK?

Mark,
I'd certainly be giving them a go... no harm trying. Rogan may know the life expectancy of the Canna seeds, but I think from memory they are a very hard cased seed aren't they? This usually means that they lock their moisture in tightly and gives an extended viability period. Not always the case with every genus of course, but I think that is usually the case (and I am quite open to being corrected if I'm wrong.... I'd like the have the right info stored in my head!! ::)).
