Hi All,ordered a bulb Acis nicaeensis and this is what has flowered,but I don't think it is what I ordered.any ideas thanks bye Ray

Hi Wim,thanks for the reply,my understanding is that A rosea flowers in late summer early autumn it is mid spring here.bye Ray

Now after seeing where is your location is it clear -this is Acis trichophylla "Rosea"

Congrats, very nice. I must search out and find mine of that..... I bought it years ago from somewhere lost in the misty recesses of my memory, and it has barely ever multiplied. Yours looks like it is a good doer though, so obviously better stock than mine is/was (given I can't recall the last time I saw it, it could very well be a "was" ::)). Mine also never had that wide open flower on it like that. I think I might have to ask Marcus about whether he has any of those on offer this coming summer..... that is VERY nice. 8)
