Hi all,
Does somebody grow this shrub ? Impossible to find it in France or Europe but it is so beautiful ::)
-
Nicole,
you must look for Caryopteris divaricatus Snow Fairy.
Have only buy Caryopteris divaricatus two weeks ago at a special nursery, because we see it in the Botanic Garden of Krefeld (Germany) at the same day.
-
Onion,
Have you bought this one with variegated leaves ? Can you give me please the name of the nursery where you found it ?
I always find American nurseries ???
Thanks for your answer :)
Nicole

Nicole,
I only by the normal form.
The link for the nursery : http://www.stauden-diamant.de/
No catalogue (we ask), no trade in internet (we ask to). One of these little diamonds in the world of gardening I think.

Nicole, the RHS plantfinder for the UK says that Caryopteris divaricata 'Snow Fairy' (v) was last listed in 2008. :'(

Maggy, I am very sad :'( It was so beautiful !
In any case, thanks for your help ;)

Is this the plant you are looking for? It grows very well for me here in southern Indiana, USA. It grows in both light shade or full sun. For me it reaches about 3 feet tall and blooms in September. It does have an unpleasant smell to the foliage though, so I wouldn't plant it near a path where you might brush up against it. It grows easily from cuttings, wish I could send some to you. Good luck in finding it.

Welcome to you and thanks for your offer but I purchased it in a plantfair in Belgium last week :D :D :D
