Does anyone know this lovely little plant? It roots at each node as it goes along. Not in my garden but I would like one for colour at this time of year
-
It looks like Phyla nodiflora or some other species of Phyla.
-
Thanks. Also known as Turkey Tangle Fogfruit

Hi Mark, we know it as Lippia nudi.... and I have posted a picture of it growing rampantly in the garden in Limoux France.
-
Where is the photo?
-
Sorry I'm not good at manipulating this site to show links. It is in the Places to Visit, Jardin aux plantes ...........Limoux. Can you find it now?
-
I dont see it there. ???
-
I've searched too, Shelagh.... I can't find it.... I think you must have missed it out! :-\
-
This Wikipedia entry suggests that Phyla is the current name for Lippia:

Sorry folks. I have now posted it in both threads.
-
For some reason I dont want it now ::)

It can be invasive but it is also somewhat frost tender which should keep it in check. Lost mine altogether in a hard winter.
