Title: Indexing Yearbooks

Can anyone please suggest a programme (preferably a free one off the net) to index Yearbook articles, authors, plants?

I do the indexing for the Sedum Society newsletters every 10 issues. I don't have a programme but once I'd done the first 10 issues it was simply a case of manipulating the index as subjects entered or dropped. It used to take a few days now I can complete on a (wet non-gardening) day.
