This looks to have been a beautiful summer day for this party, Gerd.... no wonder the snails look so happy ;D

A lovely relaxed summer feeling, Gerd, the waterway looks terrfic for children of all ages! I love the leaf of the Victoria cruciata floating on the lake like dinner plate adn the Nelumbo nucifera would make a nifty fan if it gets too hot ;D
Thanks for sharing your day out.

Maggi & Robin,
Thanks for the kind remarks!
It was a splendid summer day indeed - and the best message is - the fine weather remains - the forecast for Thursday is up to 35 ° C!

Gerd, we spent this very Thursday all day driving on the German Autobahn, returning from holidays.
Near Frankfurt the temps raised to about 39 C. Getting outside the car (with Airco full on) we were immediately hit down by the heat. ::) ::)
How did we manage in earlier days without Airco? ??? ???

Thank you David!
You might have too many rainy cool days, but I can assure you that these high temps were no pleasure at all.
