Anyone growing this and getting fruit? I had a plant doing well several years ago but it fell prey to lack of water during the summer: sheer carelessness on my part. And the nursery I got it from no longer has it.
BTW, the secret to cultivating this plant is to grow it in a pot of peaty soil sitting in a saucer of water so it's very damp, even wet, at all times. IOW, treat it as a bog plant.

I have it (available from Hokonui Alpines) but hasn't fruited yet. I'm pretty sure they get fruit though. Maybe some seed sometime.

I have a few nice plants of this beautiful South American shrub which sets fruit in mid summer here in our climate. I am collecting seed from them now if you are interested in acquiring some.
