Hello,
I have some seeds of this species if anyone is interested.
I am looking for seeds of Iris, Lilium, Alstroemeria... .
All the best,
Rafa.

Hi Rafa,
Yes I'm interested. But I can't find this species on the internet or in the John Blanchard book. New species or nomenclatural change?
I have L. martagon seeds to offer; the real species from once wild-collected plants from Poland.
Regards, Hans

I too cannot find that name in Blanchard but am interested if they come from Spain.

From the 2008 Narcissus revison list:
Narcissus varduliensis Fernández Casas & Uribe-Echebarría, in Estud. Inst. Alavés Naturaleza 3: 232 (1988) (Narcissus) Section
Pseudonarcissus
From B.J.M Zonnevald's recent paper on narcissus DNA...
N. pseu. ssp. leonensis (Pugsley) Fern. Casas & Lainz 65.8 Vittoria, Spain : renamed/syn as varduliensis ?

Thanks Maggie :)

Thanks, Pat, Sorry not to have more info for you... but these two references are the best I can do... at least they give a hint as to the likely type!

oh sorry! I missed all these replies,
Hans, send me your addres, Pat I think I have your address.
Narcissus varduliensis Fern.Casas & Uribe-Ech.
Estud. Inst. Alavés Naturaleza 3: 232 (1988).
This species is not valid for most of people, but I have seen N. pseudonarcissus subsp. nobilis and N. varduliensis and although they are very close, N. varduliensis more concolor. It is like a cross between N. pallidiflorus and N. nobilis.
Anyway it is stunning species.

Would love a few seeds. I could supply some seed of Lilium canadense red, wild collected, or Iris brevicaulis from southern Alabama.

If you have any left, Rafa, I would like seed too. I have seeds (or tubers) in return of a small alstromeria which seeds and runs about in my sand plunge. I think it is Alstroemeria pygmaea, it is about 7cm high with glaucous leaves and yellow flowers.

Oh, thank you. Could both send me your address to my e-mail?
All the best,
Rafa.
