Our trip to see friends in Norwich over the Spring Bank Holiday Weekend took in a visit to Fairhaven Woodland and Water Garden. The garden is set in 53 hectares (131 acres) of woodland, water gardens and private broad between Norwich and Great Yarmouth. The flower colour came from swathes of Candelabra Primulas and Iris pseudacorus. Well worth a look for anyone visiting this part of England.

Great to see the prims, we've been tring to get em going here but this years seedlings got killed off by red spider mite!

I'm a huge fan but I've got problems growing them well - too dry in my garden... :-\
