I am annoyed with myself for forgetting the identity of this primula (flowering now) - any assistance gratefully received.
-
As this isn't the puzzle page, how about a picture of the plant!!
-
Sorry Martin,
It will have to wait until tomorrow now.
I'll take a shot of the label as well! ;D ;D
-
Well the foliage would be helpful, though Giles will know it IMMEDIATELY from the flowers alone. :)
-
A couple of shots of the plant as requested ... hope they assist?
-
Beats me, you need an expert.
-
I'm not one but it could be Primula alticola. Giles or Lesley are sure to know.
-
How about Primula auriculata ?
-
Many thanks Giles ... I believe you could be right. Thanks to David, Martin and all for taking the time to check.

I knew Giles would know it, probably just from the colour of the gravel on the pot and the size of the chip on the side. :) Anyway, a very pretty little species.
