This morning I took a pic of a Fritillaria species from Rhodes. The plant is cultivated by Erich Pasche who is looking for a name. Any guesses?
(Sorry for the bad quality of the pics)

Hi Gerd ,
I'm glad that I can help you in this time :
It is Frittilaria rhodia - I have it found self by my visit on Rhodes on easter 2001 .....thats really small plants !
I found it only in one place ....seems quiet rare .

That closeup flowrer seems to be double, or close to it, with more than 6 petals.

Lesley, you are right. I only noticed the larger shape of the flower and didn't count the petals.
