this year is really the first year that I have succsessfull flowering plants ....( after 5 years with waiting )
I think one of the reasons was ths long and unusual strong winter here ( a long time temeratures always really cold ) - in other year we have sometimes one week cold in February ...and the next week warm ...

I have given this plants ( after not succsessfull cultur in pots ) a place in my garden where it is shady and cool ...in summer I have given often a portion of water extra ....the bulbs are in big lattice pots and around is some peat ....this plants likes not my calcy soil ....

Enjoy  8)

Hans,

I had looked back at the original posting of this snowdrop this morning and was wondering how it had progressed since and so am delighted that you have posted an update for us. It looks excellent.

Wow, Hans.  I love the yellow and green combination in 24 in particular.  Very striking!!  Not like anything I have seen before.

Hans,

I thought the yellow on picture 24 was the result of strong sunlight on the ovary and not the actual colour of the plant.

Very nice.

Hans,

But from the pics I had thought it was a pale green ovary, yellow at the base of the petals, then green marking?  Either way, it is a great combination.

My plant from Georgia differs a bit from yours and it started flowering just recently. It is my first year with them but luckily it has two flowers.
