Came back from Malta a few weeks ago and have tried to post some pictures since but without success. I think I'll try posting only one at a time. I spotted this wee buttercup. Any ideas of what it is?
-
So one at a time is better than nothing. This is a view I liked most
-
1.2. No idea what it is
3. This oxalis is a typical weed everywhere
-
Your Ranunculus looks like R. bullatus
-
It seems to start working, so I'll continue
1. Typical city planting
2. Aloe in bloom
3. Arisarum?
4. Echeveria
Thank you for your idea, Mark. I have just read R.bullata smells violet. I wish I had smelled it
-
This is what my R. bullatus, ex Anthony, looks like
-
Looks similar but yours has toothed leaves. Does it really smell?
-
I didnt smell the flowers. There is another Maltese Ranunculus called Anthony's Buttercup R. bulbosus but I dont think the description fits

Thank you, Mark. You were right. I have just found a nice website www.maltawildplants.com and among the 15 native species listed there only R.bullatus flowers in Nov./Dec.

Nice set of pictures Oleg, they made me feel warm!

Oron,
thank you so much. I'm not a pundit of Medeterranean plants.
David,
I'm glad you feel warmer looking at the pics. So do I (with the snow around and expected -20)
