Today weather in Poland is not encouraging :) - wet and windy
Some photos from that year trip to Savoy Alps with Rock Garden Club Prague. I saw in seed exchanges of SRGC i AGS seed send by several attendees.
Let's come back to the beginning of September...
Campanula cenisia - still in flower >2600m - Col du Galibier
Erigeron alpinus - compact form
Linaria alpina - with superb contrast of colors
Lotus alpinus - last flowers >2400m
Jardin alpin du Lautaret - Alpine garden in mountans (~2100m)/ own by Grenoble University
-
Michal, this trip back in time is just what we need to cheer us in this weather, Thank You!
-
Great Michal, are there any more? ;)
-
Oh Lautaret! It brings back memories. There was a brooklet leaving the
limits of the garden with thousands of different coloured asiatic primulas at the margin.

Some more for good start in office today.
Campanula cochrealifolia - nothing special but nice photo
Eritrichum nanum - on silicaeous metamorphic rock (definitely acidic)
Leucanthemopsis alpina
Senecio incanus
Ononis cenisia / syn. Ononis cristata

The Leucanthemopsis and Senecio are lovely plants
-
Great shots Michal !
Beautiful plants and scenery - Thanks for sharing !
I wouldn't describe Camp. cochleorifolia as "nothing special" - it's a little gem and one I find quite difficult to satisfy in the garden... :-\

Campanula cochlearifolia - with no comment ;D
Jardin alpin du Lautaret - another view
Jardin alpin du Lautaret - map of the garden
Jardin alpin du Lautaret - new volcanic tufa rock garden
