Title: Tulipa goulimyi
Post by: Lesley Cox on October 28, 2008, 07:55:09 PM
An Australian friend asks if anyone is growing Tulipa goulimyi? He found it back in the early nineties on "the end point of the Mani Peninsula" but has not seen it since. He sent me 2 pictures, one of the location of the Tulipa and the other of the village of Varthia. He has also just bought a more powerful computer so hopes to join in the Forum soon.

Lesley :

The name of this village is Vathi or Vathia - I have seen this area after a lot of fires on Mani in fall .

Thanks Hans, the spelling mistake was mine, not my friend's.
