Title: North Northumberland Rock Garden Group 60th Birthday

Hi to all, Ann and I visited today Blagdon Hall in Northumberland as special guests of the group. they are celebrating 60 years since it first started and I have several pictures to post just to let you see what a super day we had with great friends on a perfect sunny day. I will post more pictures tomorrow with names for some of the people but here is a flavour for noe cheers Ian the Christie kind

Hi again, here as promised are a few more pictures for the super lunch we had with the NNRGG.  The people cutting the cake are Gill Lee Convenor ( in red) and Mary Craster who at 87 still brings plants for sale at meeting helps with seed packeting and a whole lot more. Frank Williams who is also 80 plus and very much involved with the group. The interesting thing is that this group has every minute of the meetings from 1948 a very interesting piece of history they also have a set of syllabus form 1976 listing all the speakers another interesting piece of history.  We stopped on our way home to see our very good friend Ron McBeath and took a picture of Gentian georgei in his nursery cheers Ian the Christie kind
