Last weekend was the AGS Loughborough autumn show. I didn't post earlier as i had a problem with memory card. As has happened before there is a colour cast on some pics, due to the lighting in the hall, but as nobody else has posted I will put them on anyway.
First of all the Croconuts will be pleased to see that the Farre medal was won by Jim Mcgregor with a pan of Crocus kotchyanus.
For now just a few general shots of the benches.
The 3 pan hardy fern section
Cyclamen section
3 Cyclamen entry
Cushion plants
Miniature garden section. The McLoughlin entry on the left.

Many thanks for posting Mick ... an impressive mini-garden you have there.

Thanks for that Cliff. The mini-garden is all Mandy's work but she keeps pinching my plants.
Next a selection of Cyclamen, not surprisingly well represented at the show.
First another view of the benches with the cyclamen classes.
Then a Cyclamen africanum
3 distinct Cyclamen graecum. On the left subsp graecum forma album, on the right subsp candicum and in the front subsp anatolicum.
Next another fine example of Cyclamen graecum ssp anatolicum
finally for this group Cyclamen mirabile

That IS a lovely garden.... well done ....was the winner from John Dower by any chance???
.....also good to see the other flowers......pretty cyclamen..... really can't resist them!

Mick - Nice miniature garden, could we have a better pic please, I'd like to see it a bit closer but couldn't be there! :-\

No Maggi I don't believe it was John Dower. I'll look if I've a picture with the label on when I get home. Looking on the results page of AGS I think it was Mavis and Sam Lloyd of Redditch.
Brian I will try and do some photos of the 3 mini-gardens Mandy has in production this weekend and post on the forum.
