Well, I never! How delightful! At least if the weather turns our climate around completely, it is a comfort to know that there are other exciting things I can begin to grow! 8)

No not the solar cell Hans. I got someone else to look at the pictures and they told me, very reliably, that the blue is the sky. I thought all sky was  coloured grey! ::)

Huh! Sunshine, South American cocktails and music......( I don't smoke cigars, or I'd cite that as well)...this is not what I want to hear when I am sitting here in cold wet and very gray Aberdeen, thinking thata thick coat and gloves is the best way to go to avoid freezing at the computer.... :'(
I am utterly envious, I can tell you!

Weather forecast in Scotland is easy and reliable: if you can see the hills it's going to rain; if you can't see the hills it's already raining. ::)

The council in Aberdeen is a useless bunch, with officials that are yet more useless... the city has a shortfall of 50million pounds in their budget... we don't know what day it is , half the time :-X I think Hans may be right with his suggestion of cost saving measures!! 8)

Also, we can't see any hills from Aberdeen, Hans!!

I believe the approved method of weather forecasting which is used in New Zealand is to put all possible forecasts into a barrel, drink 3 large Scotch whiskies then draw one out and read it.

It is incredible to me that boaties, fishermen and others who DEPEND on accurate forecasting are actually prepared to PAY for this service. ??? ??? ???
