Title: furry berries and aconites
Post by: SueG on August 05, 2008, 01:48:54 PM
I saw these whilst out on Sunday at the gardens at Howick, I know I should know what this berry is but can't remember, can anyone help please? There were also very similar plants with white furry berries as well.
In the same part of the garden we found these aconites with browny flowers - again i'd like to know what these are if any one can help.
Thanks
Sue

Hi Sue,

I think it is Triosteum himalayanum and the one with white berries will probably be Triosteum pinnatifidum.

We have the white berried T. pinnatifidum in the garden but Robin beat me back to the forum.
