I might go to Denmark with my cousin next summer - do you know of a website/contact about rock and other gardens in Denmark?
Friends, I have received this query from an SRGC Member in the USA..... can we help her, please, with suggestions of good gardens to visit?

I visted and enjoyed Aarhus botanical garden. It has a nice rockgarden but I am no expert to say if it is great or goood or averaged. They had a rose garden and a greenhouse as well. Beside is a "old village" to see how the life was X years ago.
Here is a link to the botanical garden and the Tropical house.

Going by train is not that expensive and one crosses several bridges going from Copenhagen to Aarhus so I think if time permits it might be worthfull.
There have also been a thread about Copenhagen botanical garden here at the forum.
Hope this gives a start
Kind regards
Joakim

Lille Malunds have is a beautiful place to visit

The web site seems to be in Danish only, but the pics are in any language ;)

Beautiful gardens indeed. Thanks for these links. If only I didn't have the houswork to do and a job and heaps of weeding, I could spend more time looking here.

The Alpine Garden Society Danmark has a website: http://www.agsdanmark.dk/ where you can find more information about rockgardens in Denmark.
