Title: Mystery plant
Post by: ChrisB on July 10, 2008, 03:08:32 PM
Hi folks,  have a new mystery plant for you.... brought in by a neighbour for me to figure out what it was, but I couldn't.  Hope you can help me with its identity.  She said it was brought to her from Switzerland, likes a lot of water and sunshine:

thanks Fermi.... my friend is delighted to know what the plant is, now she can look up how to take care of it.  She's offered me cuttings, but I have nowhere really to grow it.  Guess I could put it in the front porch which is frost free in winter, but certainly not 60F which is indicated on web sites.  Lovely flower, shame it has no scent.
