does anyone know what time roughly these little buttercups start to die down?
my clone of the above and betts blake double have gone yellow now but i fear they may have died, so just wanted to know what the dormancy time is so i can stop worrying (as i do about my plants)
thanks

Don't worry, mine are too.

I think the anemonellas are what Kristl calls "ephemerals" by which I think she means they are here today, gone tomorrow, quite a short season above ground. The seed too, when there is any, has a short life compared to many others, as with many Ranunculaceae.
As a reassurance Rob, you could (very gently) feel below the compost surface and you'll surely feel little hard, knobby bits, just waiting for next year. :)

It's probably a bit early in your season for the new bit to be a seedling, but time will tell. Could be a seedling of something else, a weed perhaps?
