To Drs. Bainbridge, and all concerned
I am available to receive and prepare seed from US members and to secure a Phyyo.
I strongly suggest that we post instructions as early as possible.
Last year several regular donors had insufficient notice to participate.
There is an enormous amount of typing involved in securing a phyto.
I would be very grateful if U.S. donors got their expected seed lists to me as soon as possible.
Please send seed to me as early as possible.
If you expect late ripening seed, please send it in a separate lot.

I have some south African oxalis species of which I would like to send bulbils to the seed exchange this year. Is this possible under current UK practice, or is live plant material more problematic than seed?

SRGC Seed Exchange
Donations of seed are welcomed for our Seed Exchange. Our members in ALL countries (including USA, Australia, Japan and all EU countries) can make Main orders for seed in December.
Autumn is coming, and we encourage all our members to collect and donate seed to our Seed Exchange.
We are one of the only societies who can send seed out to ALL countries in the world, including the USA, Japan, Australia, New Zealand and every country in Europe.

Hi Tom
I'm sorry to say that bulbils can only be sent into the UK with a phytosanitary certificate, unlike seeds, so it may be better to give them to friends and colleagues in Germany!
best wishes
