Don't hesitate to share fotos of interesting or beautifull Rhododendron and other ericaceous plants from your garden. Here are a few from my garden. The first is a favourite, Rh. tomentosum (=L. palustre) from Kangerlussuaq, Western Greenland, a low compact form that I think is much better than the untidy European versions. The second is Rh. groenlandicum (=L. groenlandicum) from the Narsarsuaq area, Southern Greenland. The third is Phyllodoce tsugifolia (=P. nipponica var. tsugifolia) that I got from the rhododendron expert Sv. Aage Askjær.

Very cold tolerant?

Very cold tolerant. And also tolerant of the unpredictable Danish winter with warm periods followed by late frosts that has killed many other arctic/subarctic plants in my garden.
