Erythronium are starting to show signs of life in Southern Ontario, Canada.

Is there a secret to getting albidum to flower? I've grown one for 4 years in the ground and just get leaves. Purchased another last year and kept it potted.

First off many thanks to Maggi and Ian for registering this named Erythronium for me in the IRGe.  Erythronium  revolutum 'Alleyne Cook' in today's rain Last year I sent photos of this to Ian Young. He said the colour was noteworthy and recommended he could publish a short article on it in the IRG. Thus the name became valid.  Its attributes seem to tick all the usual boxes. Named after the late great plantsman Alleyne Cook of North Vancouver, BC.  As a young man he helped move the rhodos from Roza Stevenson's garden Tower Court to WGP  and Sunningdale Nursery and established the Ted & Mary Greig Garden in Vancoiuver, BC amongst his many accomplishments.  He sent me this, his best E. revolutum find, some years ago. johnw
