An announcement has been made by the Alpine Garden Society that "friend and colleague Deborah Parker, who was the editor of our journal, passed away unexpectedly last weekend. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family.
Details of the memorial service will be shared soon."
More shock news in a week that has been full of sad news.
