Hi, I recently discovered a clump of snowdrops under a neglected hedge, they were massive, 25cm high and the individual buds 5cm in length. I was hoping that they would be my beloved G.' Sophie North', but on inspection of the inner perianth, it looks rather more common. Can anybody shed a light, please?

It is helpful to examine the tip of a leaf, and to see how the leaves meet at the base - flat against each other, or curved around each other.
