Title: Two C. glomerata - but different.
Post by: JohnnyD on June 20, 2024, 01:57:43 PM
Can anyone put a definitive name to the two Campanula glomerata please. The dark one (we have had for years) on grows to 10-12 inches. The pale one grows sustantially taller. HELP! JohnnyD

As far as I know, Campanula glomerata comes in various colours - there are even a number of named forms. I'd be happy with the same name for both!

Thanks Maggi. Confusing though for plants which are so different in colour, habit etc.
I now seem to recall growing the short, dark form in Burnley sixty years ago as C.glomerata acaulis.
