Dr Aline Finger introduces the Scottish Plant Recovery Project, a core conservation programme at Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) aiming to safeguard ten priority Scottish plant species, and shares exciting initial results for the rare Alpine Blue-sow-thistle. Please note, this talk contains unpublished preliminary data that has not yet undergone proper statistical analysis, so do not reference it at this stage.
The talk was given at the recent Scottish Botanists' Conference held at the RBGE in early November 2023 at which over 210 professional and amateur botanists, drawn from across the country, attended.
