Stefan, beautiful snowdrops!

Thanks Herman!

A beautiful array of snowdrop pics, Stefan! Especially the insect captured in front of the poculiform snowdrop shows great skill! And the unusual G. graecus found by You looks very interesting! Obviously, You enjoy better weather than we do, ´Fly Fishing´and ´Magnet´are well ahead of the same varieties in my garden.
Therefore, just some pics taken in the greenhouse: this is a G. elwesii - seedling I admired last year when visiting a friend, and she was kind enough to share some bulbs with me. The outers measure 40 mm.

A seedling from a cross G. plicatus x ´Three Ships´.

And another one.

Thanks Mariette, Jörg! This winter is quite warm. I even watered some pots in the garden a bit over the weekend, that's never happened before.

Stefan, beautiful pictures of snowdrops.
I especially liked the one of 'Colossus', and your first unnamed one had lovely shape of flowers.
Also 'Fly Fishing' looks unique with such long pedicel.
Mariette, I admire your own hybrids with 'Three Ships'. Are they later flowering than 'Three Ships'? It looks like that.
Big elwesii looks impressive and with nice green tips on the outers, too.
-
Thank You Leena, I did these crosses just for fun when a G. plicatus flowered at the same time as ´Three Ships´. The hybrids seem to flower somewhat later, indeed, but still have to be tested outdoors.

Very nice shots shown here

Lovely photo's Stefan! I love the shape of these flowers.
In 2019 Alan kindly gave me some mixed seed. One flower in particular looked interesting and flowered in 2021 for the first time. This year it is looking very nice:

The other seedlings are nice, but less eye catching-for now. Many have not flowered yet so who knows what will pop up. Lovely to see the massive variations. Thanks again Alan!

Thanks Bart! I found it a few years ago, the flowers are like porcelain, a very favorite snowflake for me.
Nice snowdrop seedlings you show. For how many years did they bloom?
-
I think it's the first time i post in the Galanthus threads, to be honest i'm not a huge fan of this genius ;)
But never say never, here's Galanthus samothracicus

Snowdrops really starting to come in the new garden now. I had to plant these in a bit of a hurry after we moved in early summer so not sure of identity - the second one looks like Diggory though. There should be labels in the ground somewhere!

I've just caught up with this post. That does look like a very nice snowdrop. Good luck with the ones that have not flowered yet.
