Has anybody on here had any experience with geranium refractum from seed.I've bought some but there isn't much info about this species.

I know Lisa from Growild (www.growildnursery.co.uk) grows this and has posted about the seed germinating, after being moist packed,in only a few weeks- so I think she'll be able to help you, Davey.

Hi, I'm presuming these have come from Chinese Alpines seeds? I've found these germinate readily with just warmth between 7 to 20 days. Hope that helps, Lisa

Thank you Maggi and Lisa that does help.

I have also germinated them twice. I just sow when I get the seeds in fall and place the pot in a cool place. Germination occur in early spring.

Mine [from Chinese Alpines] were sown 13 April in unheated greenhouse and germinated 13 May.
