Title: Sale of 2 special snowdrop bulbs for charity

Ian Christie  has  named  a  new  snowdrop - and generously  plans  to sell the  first  two bulbs  on Ebay, the  proceeds  to go to local health service  organisations.

Great news from Ian and  Ann Christie :

"Ann and I are delighted to let you know we have sold two of our special Snowdrops for £400 each Galanthus plicatus The Lady with the Lamp named in honor of Florence Nightingale who tended soldiers 200 years ago this money raised will be donated to NHS charity locally. I thank Maggi Young who promoted this sale within SRGC very special to have this support will let you know where the money has gone once we get  Christmas over."
