Title: Bursa Uludağ National Park covered with concrete
Post by: Hannelore on November 13, 2020, 04:30:35 PM
From a Turkish friend I got this link

https://www.sozcu.com.tr/2020/gundem/tarim-ve-orman-bakanligi-endemik-bitkinin-yetistigi-alani-betonla-kapladi-6123434/ (https://www.sozcu.com.tr/2020/gundem/tarim-ve-orman-bakanligi-endemik-bitkinin-yetistigi-alani-betonla-kapladi-6123434/)

As far as I understand (via Google translater) an adventure park shall be constructed in the Bursa region where endemic plants grow. The whole place is covered with concrete.

Is there someone who can report the article exactly?

From what I understand- the  damage  is  already  done- so, even with  threats  to sue  those  who broke the  law  of the  National Park to desecrate  this  area  with  it's  supposedly  protected  endemic plants- it  is  too late  to save  them!  Dreadful thing to happen in any  area, let  alone  one  which is  meant  to be  already  under  protection!
