This is a very new garden on Speyside. In the 1990's this area was a commercial conifer forest growing in thin soils on free draining sand and gravel. Iain Brodie is ow turning the site into a botanical garden displaying specimen plants of the northern hemisphere.

Paeonia mairei
Primula laurentiana
Most of the plants displayed at Auchgourish are raised by Iain in his nursery.
He has a wide selection of unusual trees which he will sell from the nursery and for those going to Gardening Scotland look out for the display and sales table of Auchgourish Garden in the main hall.
