COVID means that we are all travelling less. This means that the number of travel-related articles in our journals will decrease. There is a danger that your journals will become much smaller. So please put pen to paper or fingers to keyboards to write about your plants and your enthusiasms. Do not worry about your prose skills and do not give way to false modesty. The IRG and THE ROCK GARDEN editors will welcome your contributions on behalf of all members and will make the most of your efforts for you. In this way we will keep our journals alive and support each other through a most awful and difficult time.

Well said, Anton! I'd add that members need not be nervous if they haven't written before for publication - it is the job of the editors to make you look good, no matter how inexperienced or unsure you may be! ::) ;D
(And we'll do our best!!) ::)
SRGC President Julia was lucky enough to visit The Rock Garden Editor, Anton Edwards, today - this lovely photo of Anton and Margaret Edwards in their Perthshire garden is by Julia Corden ...
