Anyone know what this is please?  Appeared in the gravel at a friends garden

Aha, yes Sheilagh, I think you may be right.  They do have a blue tinge to them not shown up well in my friends photo.  Thanks for that!

We spotted this flowering in the lawn just this morning. Coincidence!
