Title: Which poppy?
Post by: Maggi Young on May 11, 2020, 06:56:49 PM
From Rimmer  .... "Do you know what poppy this is?

I have had these for about 5-10 yrs and they may have come mixed in with Papavar macrostomom ‘Black Magic’ seed from the Wallis’ or maybe not.

It appears they are similar and may be interbreeding with the taller black poppy.

They prefer the thin limestone gravel cover over the asphalt drive edge

These are photos from over a month ago in March but some are still blooming now in May."
