Title: Request for ID: Yellow flowers in the shade of a hedge
Post by: Sempervivum on April 27, 2020, 09:38:54 PM
Dear gardeners,

today I spotted these flowers in the shadow of a hedge in my garden (1st and 2nd photo). They have appeared spontaneously, I didn't plant them. 3rd photo is showing the foliage. The plant in question is in the center of the image, looks like gras. Top left: Primula veris, bottom right: Crocus, leaves of Cyclamen are also visible.
Can anyone identify this plant?
Best regards

Ulrich, the floral parts suggest to me that you have tulips growing in too much shade. I wouldn't hazard a guess to variety or species.
