More about  Jon Evans' report  from Pershore  Show  - look out  for  fine  plant  of  Primula allionii ‘Elke Weis’ - named  for  forumist  Rudi Weiss' charming  wife.
Following Rudi Weiss' comment that the  primula  shown as  'Elke  Weis' was  not the  form named  for his wife, Jon Evans  has  spoken to the  exhibitor  about  it  -  he  had  obtained the  plant  around  ten years  ago from Gerd Stopp - seems  there  was a  label mix-up along the  way, as  often happens.  :)
Hard to tell which cultivar  the  plant  shown  actually  might  be - there  are  so many  similar - the   only distinctive characteristic is a marked central fold down each petal on it, I'm told.

Jon has  edited  his comments  on that  plant  in his  report. Thanks, Jon, for your  help with this!
