Title: Crocus Expert - Article in RHS 'The Garden'

Just opened my Garden mag and found an article about Janis and his crocuses.  Wonderful to see him get such recognition!  Bravo.

Janis  Ruksans  is  well -known in the  forum, to SRGC members and plant  lovers world-wide. It  has  been a  delight to have  his  contributions  to this  Forum, and to the  SRGC with  talks and  articles  ( for instance  in the  International Rock Gardener  e-magazine  where  he  has  written extensively  on his  favourite  bulbs - and   has  described  a number  of  new  species)  and  it  is  great to see  this  article  by Noel Kingsbury, with  photos  by Richard  Bloom, in the  February  2020  issue of  The  Garden, the  magazine  of the  Royal Horticultural Society.

The  SRGC was  pleased to  have  been involved  with  the  publication of his  latest book, The  World  of  Crocus - this  man is a  giant  in the  world  of  little  bulbs!

The  March 2020 issue  of The  Plant  Review  will include  an  interview  with  Janis.
