I have a nice little plant of Viola cunninghamii sprouted from the year but I can not find information on its hardyness. is it freezing?
-
When I remember correctly V. cunninghamii did not survive over winter here in W. Germany.
I have to confess that I made no reliable tests.

Viola cunninghamii dies back during winter and resprouts in spring so is protected from the weather in that respect. It seeds freely so you are not likely to lose it.

thank you David
I have only 2 young plants and the seeds formed have already sprouted this autumn (cotyledon stage)
however seedlings have already withstood - 2 ° C in the greenhouse.
what is the minimum temperature in your home?
and can not it vary according to their origin (New Zealand, Australia)?
they are seeds of SRGC 2018: did you send them?
